
Coconut Onion Samosa – Ingredients for Stuffing:
Coconut: (grated)Â 1 cup
Finely chopped onion: 1 cup
Chopped and crushed green chillies: 5
Greated and crushed ginger: 2″
Jaggery: 1/2 tsp
Tamarind powder: 1/2 tsp
Salt: 1/2 tsp.
Ingredients for dough:
Enriched Flour: 1 cup
Hot Oil: 1tbsp
Salt: 1/4 tsp
Turmeric: A pinch.
Method Of Preparation:
Add hot oil to the enriched flour. Also, add salt and turmeric
Mix like bread crumbs
Add water to make a stiff dough.
Keep aside for 20 mins
Cover with a damp cloth
In the mean while, mix all ingredients needed to make the stuffing. Make small roundels from the dough and roll them into puris.. Make the puris into cones and stuff the coconut mixture(stuffing). Seal on the top with the flap o the dough.
Deep fry in oil. I just brushed it in oik and friend it in the air fryer. Same taste without the guilt! 🙂
So Coconut Onion Samosa, This is a great evening snack with tea and a delightful deviant from regular samosa!
