Sometimes I don’t have time because I am busy doing many things and other times I am busy just lazing around and end up rushing into the kitchen just before my boys come back from school…!!! All of us can relate to these situations right ?? 🙂
I feel sometimes it’s necessary to just laze around, take it easy and energize yourself before you role up your sleeve and get busy for the rest of the day ahead..!!!
Whole Wheat Dosa Ingredients:
Whole wheat flour: 1 cup
Rice flour: 1/2 cup
Onions chopped: 1/2 cup
Jeera/cumin: 1/2 table spoon
Broken fried red chillies: 2 nos
Oil: 1 spoon for frying onions and little for making dosa
Water as required
Salt as required
Method Of Preparation:
In a mixing bowl add wheat flour, rice flour and salt.
Take a small kadai/pan, add oil once it is hot.
Add jeera/cumin and broken red chillies and fry for few seconds
Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn transparent.
Add the onions to the flour mixture, add water and mix well.
The dosa batter is thin in consistency.
To make dosa:
Heat a dosa pan until hot.
Take a laddle full of batter and pour on the hot pan.
There would be some holes forming which shows that the dosa is perfectly made.
Add oil and cook on both sides.
Serve with any chutney of your preference or yougurt or chutney powder.
