Jack Fruit (raw): Cut into big cubes ( about 20 pieces)
Onion: 1 medium sized (chopped)
Ginger Garlic paste: 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes: 3 medium sized (chopped)
Mint leaves: 1/2 cup (chopped)
Coriander leaves: 1/2 cup (chopped)
Fenugreek leaves(Methi): 1/2 cup(chopped)
Green peas: 1/4 cup
Garam Masala: 1/2 or 3/4 tsp
Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon sticks: 4 or 5
Green Chillies: 4 (chopped)
Salt as per taste
Rice: 3 cups
Method Of Preparation:
Cook the rice before hand and let it cool for best results. Cook the Raw Jack fruit in a pressure cooker ( 1 whistle) and let it cool.
Take some butter in a pan. After it heats up, add cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon sticks, next add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, green chillies, mint and methi leaves and salt. Let it cook for couple minutes. Next, add the cooked Jack fruit and mix well. Add some red chilli powder if you want it more spicy! Then, add the cooked rice and coriander leaves. Mix and heat it for a couple more minutes and serve hot!
