The ability of an organism to resist an infection, with the help of its sensitized white blood corpuscles is termed Immunity.
Our immune system evolves and comes strong through its trials against illnesses and offending agents.
We, vertebrates have an adaptive immune system. It means we are capable of producing antibodies specifically designed to precisely identify an antigen (germ) once it comes in contact with it and initiate a tailored response against it and also to memorize and store the sequence for further combats.
True immunity begins with awareness of the process.
Nature has given certain basic eruptive fevers, basic cold &flu and diarrhea in children to improve identification of mine (body cells) and not mine (invaders) of immune mechanism but the advent of multitude of vaccines, has put an end to this military drill.
Also we are made to believe that the nature’s way of healing is crude and medicines have to be popped for every symptom the body presents.
Too much medicines totally confuse the natures curative response. Remember that the primary goal of every being, including bacteria, is self preservation. So our body does not harm itself, unless it is for a larger good of survival. We have to learn to trust nature’s way of handling stressors
In our endeavor to become superhumans we are creating superbugs.
Exercise, nutrition, right breathing techniques, and meditation help modulate immunity.
Our cells respond to our negativity and bring down our defenses. Lighten the toxic burden by avoiding junk food, carbonated drinks and letting go of vices and finally the unnecessary medicines.
Eat to nourish, exercise to be fit and not skinny.
Rather than cloister ourselves in a germ-free environment, let’s learn to harmoniously live in a balanced Ecospace.
